Day2: Bali - Indonesia (1July 2010) Part 1

DAY 2 - 1 JUNE 2010 (Part 1):

Now is time to introduce where we staying at? hehe... didn't mentioned on Day 1 >.<

We currently stay at TEBA House Resort which full of plan/flowers surrounding us, so I sure woundlt miss the chance to shot the flowers in the morning and also is the right time to shot it, cause the sun light still soft =)

After a while the staffs served the BREAKFAST for us, I'm think should be their homemade Balinese style OMELET served with Toasted Bread. What i can say that the OMELET absolutely YUMMY, i had totally no idea what ingredients inside it... because it's tooooooo YUMMMMY....

After finishing our YUMMY BREAKFAST, our tour guide will bring us to the 1st stop. First stop will see the Barong and Keris Dance at Batubulan Village, the performance start at 9.30 am and finish at 10.30 am. The Barong play represent an enternal fight between good and evil spirit.

A Barong (a mythological animal) represent good spirit and Rangda (a mythological monster) represent evil one. Balinese people also believed that the Barong is symbol of protector. Many kinds face of Barong, mostly is Barong cat, Barong Landung, Barong Macan (tiger face) Barong celeng (pig face).

Tell u what, actually until now I still don't understand the whole story what they bringing out? I totally grab from other site of the despriction and put it on... >.< style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 0);"> lifelike. =)

Second stop, our tour guide bring us to the PERAK HANDICRAFT, from there the staff show us the process of the metal on how they made it.

Then following by the WOODEN HANDICRAFT, what we found that they normally carve the GODs... like Buddish, Christiane, Japaneses GOD, Thai... and so of so call ART(naked guy and gal) XD

Thrid stop, at Batur Mount Volcano, this places located in Kintamani District - Bangli Regency. Penelokan Village will be the best to view of the Batur Mount and Batur Lake. Batur Mount has eruption several time already, the biggest eruption was 1926 destroyed the Batur Village, this village it was near the lake and now they move to the top. The was the black lavaeruption in 1974. This is still active Volcano smoking all the time. There are many restaurant built surround the crater specially for lunch time. This tour the most famous trip for tourist who visit the island. And we having your lunch buffet there... nothing much special of the foods the restaurant served, erm.... got fried rice, fried mee, vege, vege soup (quite saltly...), omelet, soya bean toufu, beef, chicken, satay, and so on...

After finish our meal, is time for..... SHOT SHOT SHOT... muahaha...
CK 1st, follow by JK, then both and the last Chen Siang.. =)

Next stop, Bali Coffee Agrotourism, Bali Coffee Processing and farming, Bali Coffee Luwak (Chivet Cat Coffee), the place to see various of plantation such as coffee arabica, coffee robusta, pineapple, Balinese snake fruite (salak), plain Balinese potatoes, star fruit, cacao, jack fruit, durian tree and etc, experience to see how to make Balinese coffee, try the best of Balinese coffee or ginger tea with green view river valley. They sell variety of theirs original Balinese coffee products, herb oil and etc.

While tasting the different favor of coffee, and found that there got tobacco and few piece of papers, seem like need to serve by ur-self one, put some tobacco on the well-cut paper and roll it as thin as possible then use the u also know what step is that lah... haha...
when smoke for few times... I totally don't like the smell at all... and throw it to CK and Chen Siang taste it... hehe.. :p

After having some fun there, we went to the opposite small little ulu store buy some drinks... and found that a poor little shy shaking doogy... donno is it afraid stranger his leg keep shaking... >.<
