Day2: Bali - Indonesia (1July 2010) Part 2

Another thumbview of the Bali Trip to share with u all... hehe

let's continue for another half day trip for day 1 ... hehe...

Alright, our next stop at Tirta Empul or Spring Water Temple, it's located in Tampaksiring region near Gunung Kawi Temple. The temple was built around the springs and special bathing-pools. In the inner courtyard there is clear slate-blue spring water bubbling up into it's own enclosed rectangular pool through a sedimentary layer of black sand.

Before enter the temple, everyone required to wear sarong that respect to their GODs... so from there u can see a lot ppl praying during the evening time...

In Balinese legend this spring water was created by Indra God when he fighted with the Mayadenawa King. This place now very crowded with the people when the secret day for bath special ritual called in Balinese melukat

after visit Tirta Empul, our driver bring us to rice terrcaces at Tegallalang Village, this rice terraces has beautiful view with coconut trees and beautiful small river valley.

staying a while at Tegallalang Village, then is our DINNERRRRR time... he bring us to the Tepi Sawah Restaurant that facing the small Padi field with a very quite, relax, nice decoration place to dinning.

Here is the environment what I'm talking about... hope u can feel it... keke...

So what we ordered for our dinner?
1. Pork Rib
2. Crispy Duck
I'll like the pork rib MOST then crispy duck... cause the meat absolutely juicy man, u should try it... and served with 4 different kind of home made Bali souses.

before back to Teba House Resort rest we went to Circle K to buy some junk foods and drinks... ^^

Day1: Bali - Indonesia (30June2010)

Hello everyone, I'm BACK... is time to update my BLOG... hehe =)

Recently I just went back from Bali, Indonesia with my friends(Chen Siang, JK, CK, Chin Yuen and Mei Kee) for around 7 days trip.

Here's the thumbview of the Bali trip:


Day 1 (30 June 2010):

Around 3P.M. we reached to LCCT airport and going to depart @ 5.55P.M. by taking AirAsia flight to Denpasar Bali Airport. =)

On the AIR in between going to Bali, Indonesia, still a NICE BLUE BLUE SKY... and I wouldn't miss that to took some shot, cause I know sometimes can shot some odd photos... all depends on your LUCK ^^V

Now from BLUE turning a little bit GOLDEN YELLOW color...

Finally it was turn to GOLDEN YELLOW that spread on the shape like SNAKE river and also the sea as well.

Around 9P.M. we reached the Airport, after passed the Immigration there, we all turn on our handphone, and the only one (ME) didn't received any SIGNAL at all, really what the... = ='' what happen with the DIGI ar??? Prepaid received the SIGNAL all the time but POSTPAID... HAIZ... whatever...

Once we came out from the airport, the 1st thing SURE is EAT EAT EAT for our DINNER. But b4 that meet our tour guide 1st, so that he can bring us for the trip for around 6 days... hehe...
While we on the way going for DINNER, we saw a BEAUTIFUL MOON that BIG enough to see it, I never saw the MOON so CLOSE, that's so (stunning) ... , sorry guys didn't really capture the photos to show with u all, cause stunning until forgot to use my DSLR to shot it... sob sob... >.<

After a while, our driver bring us to MADANIA RESTAURANT to have our dinner there. However is quite a ULU Place, but the environment absolutely nice...

So what NEXT? Look for the MENU and get order... :P

While waiting our foods, I just take some shot of them... hehe...

Finally our foods served on the table, doesn't look like Malay + Chinese style foods??? YES, it is... hehe..., think this is so call Indonesia style (Malay combine with Chinese cuisine)

5. Chinese style vege.

KISSATEN

Almost 2 weeks time didn't update my blog... >.< busy with my tasks =)

That night when we went to JayaOne, Lek and Toh no idea what to eat, then i suggested KISSATEN, this is my 2nd times having dinner there =)

TONKOTSU RAMEN set - Tonkotsu Ramen + Yeki Gyoza + Green Tea (Lunch/RM20.80; Dinner/RM22.80) ordered by Lek

Tonkotsu Ramen, this is just the way tasty and refreshing of the ramen, yummy yummy... ^^

The Gyoza's out looks seem nice and should be taste good... a bit disappointed, maybe it's not my taste >.<

Grilled Saba Fish Set - Grilled Saba Fish + Japanese Rice + Cawanmushi + Miso Soup + Oshinko + Green Tea (Lunch/RM25.80;Dinner/RM27.80) ordered by Toh, no comment on this Grilled Saba because I didn't taste it... hehe

KATSUDON set - Katsudon + Cawanmushi + Miso Soup + Oshinko + Green Tea

Cawanmushi the taste not bad... The texture still okie but still not smooth enough. Inside got some traditional items in this dish, like ginko nuts, chicken, mushroom.

Teriyaki Chicken Onsen Tamago - can't remember what the exact price of this Japaneses style PIZZA!!! Something like RM22+/-

This is MUST intro to u all, what an interesting looking PIZZA!!! The joy and honour of bursting the egg... :p and the MOST important is "THE PIZZA TASTES PRETTY DELICIOUS!!!" especially the cheese and the egg melted together on TOP that absolutely OMG... And one of my FAVORITE Japaneses Style PIZZA... yummy yummy ...

29 May 2010 - UMAI YA @ Puchong

Umai-Ya finally opened, specifically nestled at IOI Boulevard. So much nearer, and with the great voucher deal Toh have at hand, so we(Chen Siang, Steven, Steven's gf, Toh, Toh's gf, Chin Yuen, Mei Kee, Yew Fatt and me) gave no excuse this time for our small gathering dinner. hehe... ^^

Like any other Japanese restaurant, Umai-Ya was layed down with wooden floors, some tatami seats and also a few VIP private rooms.
